Every application has basic building blocks.
More about our system
Sender ID
This refers to the field where you select or choose your approved Sender ID. A Sender ID is the name or number that appears as the sender when you receive an SMS message. It tells the recipient who the message is from. A Sender ID would be only approved if it is not more than 11 alpha numeric characters and has been further confirmed by the Telcos and other service partners. Note that empty spaces also count as characters! Requests can take between 15 minutes to 48 hours to be approved, depending on the sender id chosen and the risk of spam.
Each request is subject to verification and approval by our service partners and telecom providers. Approval is granted only after receiving positive confirmation from them. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details regarding sender IDs.
Country Code
This field allows you to choose the country code.
The default has been set to exist on phone number but you can choose Ghana’s country code (233) whenever you want to use that option.
Recipients
This text field is where you enter the numbers of your recipients.
Phone numbers must always be entered in the 233 format (for example, 233200865446) instead of 0200865446 or +233200865446.
The above format can be used when the selected country code is set to “Multiple Self-Input” otherwise enter the numbers omitting the zero (0) at the beginning when the selected country code is set to “+233 (GH)“.
The total number of recipients can be viewed at the very right bottom under the text field.
Choose Delimiter
This option allows you to select how your numbers are separated or to be separated.
“;”: numbers are to be separated with a semi-colon (;) eg. (233249138607;233235491386;233207571487) kindly note not to leave spaces in between.
“,”: numbers are to be separated with a comma (,) eg. (233249138607,233235491386,233207571487) kindly note not to leave spaces in between.
“New Line”: numbers are supposed to be on different lines (by pressing on the enter key) eg. (233249138607
233235491386
233507571487)

Unicode
Unicode is a universal character encoding standard that makes it possible for SMS messages to include a wide range of characters beyond the basic GSM-7 set (A–Z, numbers, and a limited set of symbols) such as emojis, accented letters, and scripts like Arabic, Chinese, and many African languages. When a message contains even a single Unicode character, the entire SMS is sent using Unicode encoding, which reduces the maximum character limit per message from 160 characters to 70. This means longer messages are more likely to be split into multiple SMS segments, potentially increasing the total cost for the sender. Understanding how Unicode affects message length and billing helps users make informed decisions about the content they include in their SMS.
