Every application needs a guide.

Let's start with the basics

Every application has basic building blocks.

1

Dashboard

The dashboard provides a detailed overview of your account activity and messaging performance. It displays the active subscription in use and features a dynamic chart summarizing your SMS reports. Additionally, it includes two analytical charts presenting statistics for both incoming and outgoing SMS, categorized into Plain Text and Unicode messages. The dashboard also outlines key operational metrics such as the total number of campaigns sent and pending, the count of delivered and undelivered messages, the number of SMS templates created, contact groups and individual contacts managed, invoices sent and unsent, as well as the total number of recipients listed on the blacklist.
2

Sending

This section provides a complete overview of all your registered Sender IDs, along with the current status of each. It also displays detailed information on your SMS templates, allowing you to easily track, manage, and monitor their approval status and availability for use in campaigns.
3

Contacts

This section provides a complete view of all your contact groups. It allows you to efficiently manage your contacts by adding new members to existing groups, editing group details, deleting unwanted groups, or duplicating them for quick setup and organization.
4

SMS

This section comprises three main features: Quick Send, Campaign Builder, and Send Using File, each designed to streamline your SMS delivery process.
Quick Send: Allows you to send messages instantly by uploading up to 100 contacts through copy-and-paste. For larger distributions, you can create a contact group and import your recipients. Please note that each message page is limited to 160 characters. Messages exceeding this limit will be split into multiple pages, which may result in additional charges.

Campaign Builder: Enables you to design and schedule bulk SMS campaigns to be delivered at a time of your choice. Please note that each message page is limited to 160 characters. Messages exceeding this limit will be split into multiple pages, which may result in additional charges.
Send Using File: Lets you send messages to multiple contacts by importing a CSV file containing the recipient details. The file must include a “phone” column with numbers formatted to include the country code for a successful import and delivery.

5

Blacklist

This section displays a complete list of all contacts that have been added to your blacklist, allowing you to easily review and manage numbers that are restricted from receiving messages.
6

Automations

Send personalized messages to your audience tailored to specific occasions such as birthdays, events, or holidays. This feature allows you to create targeted and meaningful communications that strengthen engagement and enhance customer relationships.
7

Reports

This section is made up of three key components: Analyze, All Messages, and Campaigns, designed to help you monitor and evaluate your SMS performance.
Analyze: Provides a detailed chart visualizing the total number of SMS messages sent within a selected time period. You can apply filters to adjust the date range and analyze messaging trends over specific durations.
All Messages: Displays a complete record of all messages sent, along with their delivery statuses. You can view the number of messages categorized as delivered, enroute, expired, rejected, accepted, skipped, or failed, offering full transparency into your delivery performance.
Campaigns: Lists all SMS campaigns you have created, along with the current status of each, allowing you to easily track performance and manage ongoing or completed campaigns.
8

Developers

The Developers Page provides all the essential tools and credentials needed for seamless integration of the SMS platform with third-party systems or custom applications. It displays your OAuth 2.0 and HTTP API endpoints, along with your API token for secure authentication. Developers can easily regenerate tokens when needed to maintain security and access detailed API documentation through dedicated links for both standard and HTTP-based integrations.

More about our system

Sender ID

This refers to the field where you select or choose your approved Sender ID. A Sender ID is the name or number that appears as the sender when you receive an SMS message. It tells the recipient who the message is from. A Sender ID would be only approved if it is not more than 11 alpha numeric characters and has been further confirmed by the Telcos and other service partners. Note that empty spaces also count as characters! Requests can take between 15 minutes to 48 hours to be approved, depending on the sender id chosen and the risk of spam.

Each request is subject to verification and approval by our service partners and telecom providers. Approval is granted only after receiving positive confirmation from them. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for more details regarding sender IDs.

Country Code

This field allows you to choose the country code.

The default has been set to exist on phone number but you can choose Ghana’s country code (233) whenever you want to use that option.

Recipients

This text field is where you enter the numbers of your recipients.

Phone numbers must always be entered in the 233 format (for example, 233200865446) instead of 0200865446 or +233200865446.

The above format can be used when the selected country code is set to “Multiple Self-Input” otherwise enter the numbers omitting the zero (0) at the beginning when the selected country code is set to “+233 (GH)“.

The total number of recipients can be viewed at the very right bottom under the text field.

Choose Delimiter

This option allows you to select how your numbers are separated or to be separated.

“;”: numbers are to be separated with a semi-colon (;) eg. (233249138607;233235491386;233207571487) kindly note not to leave spaces in between.

“,”: numbers are to be separated with a comma (,) eg. (233249138607,233235491386,233207571487) kindly note not to leave spaces in between.

“New Line”: numbers are supposed to be on different lines (by pressing on the enter key) eg. (233249138607

233235491386
233507571487)

Unicode

Unicode is a universal character encoding standard that makes it possible for SMS messages to include a wide range of characters beyond the basic GSM-7 set (A–Z, numbers, and a limited set of symbols) such as emojis, accented letters, and scripts like Arabic, Chinese, and many African languages. When a message contains even a single Unicode character, the entire SMS is sent using Unicode encoding, which reduces the maximum character limit per message from 160 characters to 70. This means longer messages are more likely to be split into multiple SMS segments, potentially increasing the total cost for the sender. Understanding how Unicode affects message length and billing helps users make informed decisions about the content they include in their SMS.

You can click here to see examples of unicode characters.
